On September 29th, the Guaporé International Autodrome provided an exciting spectacle. This venue hosted the renowned 6 Hours of Guaporé Race, considered the biggest event in the Gaúcho Super Turismo Championship. The competition captivated the audience with a breathtaking performance, demonstrating the remarkable skill and endurance of the drivers.
In a fierce dispute, the team led by driver Bernardo Reuwsaat, from Erechim/RS, claimed victory. They crossed the finish line with mastery, leaving an indelible mark on the history of Guaporé racing. Given the nature of an endurance race, Bernardo Reuwsaat, from Erechim, shared the track with drivers Marçal Muller and Chico Moller.
The team competed in the GT/GTL category with the Gol n° 28 vehicle, equipped with electronic injection, monitoring devices, and data acquisition provided by Pro Tune. These tools allowed them to extract maximum performance from the car throughout the 6-hour race. After completing 214 laps, they secured 1st place in the overall category.
On the podium, the team received three trophies, including one for 1st place in the GT category, another for 1st place overall in the 6-hour race, and a third trophy where the names of the winners will be perpetuated, immortalizing this achievement.
In an interview after the race, Bernardo shared that he had always followed and dreamed of participating in this event. The realization of becoming a winner seemed like a distant dream that finally came true last Saturday, September 30th. Bernardo expressed his gratitude to the entire team and highlighted the importance of the collective effort that made this moment possible.
