Bernardo Reuwsaat, driver of the Pro Tune #28 Gol and winner of the 6h de Guaporé, will be present at the Rally Nova Itália 2023 in Severiano de Almeida.
Marking the awaited return of Severiano de Almeida to the national motorsport calendar, the Rally Nova Itália 2023, organized by the renowned Automóvel Clube de Severiano (ACSA), is ready to host the exciting stages of the Brazilian and Gaúcho Rally Championships this Friday and Saturday, the 17th and 18th.
In an exciting debut for the ACSA 4×4 Project – 4th Edition, the team formed by driver Bernardo Reuwsaat and co-driver Sidinei Broering is preparing to face the penultimate stage of the Brazilian Championship. With high expectations for the team, Reuwsaat emphasizes the honor of representing the project.
“It is a privilege to be part of this competent team that entrusts us with participating in this stage of the Brazilian rally championship,” said Reuwsaat.
This edition will feature the highest number of 4×4 traction cars among this year's Championship stages. The duo Reuwsaat and Broering will be driving the Hyundai Proto Rally, marking not only their participation but also Bernardo’s debut in the 4×4 traction car category.
For Reuwsaat, this debut represents a moment of learning and pushing limits. “There is a mix of adapting to the car combined with the need to drive fast, which makes this experience even more challenging,” commented the driver.
This participation is part of the ACSA Rally 4×4 – 4th Edition project, funded by the Government of the State of Rio Grande do Sul through PRÓ-ESPORTE/RS LIE, with valuable support from Yokohama and sponsorship from Cavaletti Cadeiras Profissionais, Zeyana, and Planeta Água.
The Rally Nova Itália will begin on Friday, the 17th, with the arrival of the teams, setup of the garages, and reconnaissance of the special stages by the competitors. In the evening, starting at 8 PM, a street stage is scheduled for a section in the city center of Severiano de Almeida.
On Saturday, the 18th, there will be eight special stages, six of which will be on dirt roads that will also cover the municipalities of Três Arroios and Mariano Moro. From 5 PM, we will have the two special stages starting in the center of Severiano de Almeida, followed by the award ceremony for the stage winners.
