Pro tune team wins the 1st stage of the 2024 Brazilian Rally Championship

Equipe Pro tune vence a 1ª etapa do Campeonato Brasileiro de Rally 2024

On June 14 and 15, 2024, the coast of Paraná hosted the 1st Stage of the Brazilian Speed Rally Championship. This event, one of the most traditional in the country, challenged competitors on routes that included the roads of Antonina, Morretes, and Quatro Barras. It also featured the ascent of Serra da Graciosa, as well as one of the most notable sections of the race.

The competition has three categories: Rally 5 (4x2 production cars), Rally 4 (prepared 4x2 cars), and Rally 2 (all-wheel drive cars). Among the more than 20 participants in this first stage, two competitors from Rio Grande do Sul stood out by reaching the podium in their categories.

In the Rally 2 (4x4) category, Leonardo Cavaletti and Murilo Spironelo won with an HB20 (Proto Rally), equipped with the Pro Tune TDL 4.3 telemetry system. This system primarily provided precise data acquisition, allowing strategic adjustments that were fundamental for the vehicle's performance.

In the Rally 5 (4x2) category, Bernardo Rewsaat and co-driver Sidnei Broering secured victory with a VW UP TSI, also equipped with Pro Tune electronics (ECU) and telemetry system. Bernardo expressed his satisfaction with the result: "Very happy with the result and performance we achieved throughout the race." Pro Tune technology was essential for the car's excellent performance, offering precision and reliability throughout the competition.

Both teams will participate in the next stage of the Brazilian Championship on Gaúcho soil. The 2nd stage will be held from July 19 to 21, in the city of Estação, in northern Rio Grande do Sul.
