What is the TDL 5 EVO
The TDL 5 EVO is Pro Tune's most advanced telemetry and data acquisition system. It combines a digital dash, data logger and shift light in a single unit with a 5-inch capacitive screen, built-in 100 Hz GPS and more than 2,000 preconfigured channels. It can operate 100% standalone or integrated with Pro Tune ECUs and other motorsport equipment via CAN, K-Line or Serial.

What's the difference between the TDL 5 EVO and the TDL 7 EVO?
They share the same set of features, protocols and channels. The main difference is the GPS module: the TDL 7 EVO features native dead reckoning and greater resistance to interference. The TDL 5 EVO is the ideal option for tight rally and track day cockpits, delivering full telemetry performance in a compact format.
Does the TDL 5 EVO work without a programmable ECU?
Yes. In standalone mode, it offers 40 configurable channels via its own sensors plus 20 general-purpose channels. When integrated with a Pro Tune ECU via CAN, it unlocks more than 2,000 preconfigured channels.
Do I need to buy an external GPS antenna?
The GPS is built in, but the antenna is external and included with the product. Antenna power: 3.3 V.
Which ECUs are compatible?
All Pro Tune ECUs via CAN, and ECUs from other manufacturers that use CAN, K-Line or Serial to motorsport standards.
Does it include warranty and technical support?
Yes. Pro Tune technical support and a 1-year warranty (90-day statutory warranty + 9-month contractual warranty), as set out in the Warranty Terms.
